About Parker
It was a roundabout journey Parker took to finally end up in Nashville, TN. Born in Atlanta, his family moved to Nashville when he was just 1 year old. He lived there for six years, moved back to Atlanta, and began a new life away from Music City. Music was always mixed in, but his childhood and high school days were swamped with sports, acting, and theatre. Singing and performing, though, was always the focal point of his passions, talents, and time, but it wasn’t until he was 21 that he realized it was what he was going to do for the rest of his life. He explored many career paths from the ministry to corporate consulting through college, but on the day he graduated from Wake Forest University, he knew music was his calling. To his parents dismay, he turned down all three of his comfortable, financially stable job offers to pack his bag for his childhood home; Nashville.
Since moving to Nashville in the Summer of 2011, God has opened many doors for Parker in every facet of his life, especially in music. Right now, he is having the time of his life trying every avenue of music he can: From playing huge fraternity parties across the Southeast to small, local writer’s rounds, writing constantly with phenomenal songwriters to learning new instruments, and from recording his first album to learning more about the engineering side–he is trying it all. Parker was born to perform, and he has come to the right spot. With his work ethic, talent, and drive, the sky is the limit for this young, aspiring country artist. As one hit songwriter in Nashville told him as he moved to town, “[Parker Bradway] is going to have a long, successful career as a country music recording artist in this industry.” Parker thinks so, too, and he is working tirelessly everyday to make his dream come true.
